The next wave is nearer, hence larger. First I sewed on the lace...
....folded the sea....
....and fastened the sea slightly behind the top of the wave.
To give the wave a round shape I embroidered a line of stem stitches just below the foam.
Later I will add more embroidery.
The sea so far. Of course the front wave rolls over the beach.

ReplyDeleteDo you remember what I said about seeing the whole scene better by looking at a small picture? Well, this time I walked away from the computer and looked at the screen from far away. Again I can see how great this scene will be. Extremely realistic! This is not only looking great, it IS great!
