I added some berries.

The balance gets better. Later I will add something on the bottom of the yellow patch.

Butterflies

The butterflies are made of a bullion knot for the body, 2 heartshaped buttons for the wings, a bead for the head and straight stitches with french knots for the antennae.

Organza ribbon flower and some beads

An organza ribbon flower is added and some special green-red flower beads.

This is the whole block.

Perhaps you wonder what will happen to the two empty yellow patches.

Just wait and see.....

Little branch and leaves added

That is a cute little bunch, isn't it?

Concertina rose

I made a concertina rose from satin ribbon.

This ribbon is tough to fold.

Here is a bunch of them.

Lace flower added

I added a lace flower. The branch is in stemstitch with leaves in ribbonstitch.

The block looks now like this.

It gets more balanced.

More flowers on the branch

I added straight stitches on the seamtreatment to add a little contrast. For the branch I couched the green thread on with embroiderythread in the same color.

The result is a much less heavy branch. The block tumbles less to the left.

I added a bunch of gathered flowers on the top.

Only recently I have picked up the block I started then.

I added this flower spray.

This is the whole block.

The branch on the left is too heavy. I have to correct that.
The whole block seems to tumble to the left, but I'm sure that will change after the embroidery is finished.
